ObjectRocket is seeking an Product Marketing and Campaign Manager to join our team. You’ll be part of a highly capable and motivated team working on solving the hard problems of scalability, availability, and performance on a global platform.


Job description: 


This individual manages the development and deployment of marketing programs related to the Rackspace::Solve conference series and our master awareness campaign. Collaborates with internal and external partners and resources to ensure that marketing plans are developed and executed to achieve goals. This is a hands-on role requiring strong knowledge of marketing automation, segmenting and targeting, excellent written and verbal communication, and project management skills.



  • Plans, designs, and executes marketing programs to drive customer interest and demand. 
  • Manages the execution and measurement of marketing campaigns, develops marketing materials, and interacts with and analyzes, reports from our internal CRM and marketing automation systems. 
  • Develops, maintains, and manages program schedules. 
  • Monitors campaign impact, effectiveness, and market penetration rates to formulate recommendations to improve results.
  • Recommends ways of continually improving the process of running campaigns. 
  • Tests new marketing initiatives to improve results. 
  • Collaborates cross functionally with product marketing, marketing operations, and sales teams to develop campaign narratives, messaging, and tactics. 
  • Recognizes and shares data trends and recommends best practices based on successful campaigns. 
  • Recommends new tools to better the overall marketing process.
  • Monitors the conversion of leads and recommends and implements action plans to address gaps.



  • Excellent knowledge of the program management process, including segmentation and targeting. 
  • Strong knowledge of CRM and marketing automation systems such as Salesforce.com and Marketo. 
  • Strong knowledge of, and the ability to apply, the principles of market segmentation, brand management, marketing communications, and database marketing. 
  • Outstanding written, verbal communication and presentation skills.  Ability to speak publicly to both small and large groups. 
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and thrives in a fast-paced environment and comes with a startup ‘anything and everything’ mentality.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive relationships with team members.

  • Ability to make recommendations based on available data. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field required.
  • Events experience (conferences, webinars) strongly preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience with revenue-generating marketing programs required.   
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce, Marketo, and/or other CRM/automation tools required.
