Overview & Responsibilities

The Channel Operations team in the Go-to-Market Operations organization is seeking a Senior Manager, Channel Partner Enablement.

This role is a key link between Rackspace and our Channel partners, and will be responsible for:

  • ensuring that Partners are clear on mutual roles and responsibilities in our partnership
  • keeping the Rackspace offering top-of-mind for Partners, so that they know how it fits with, and complements, their own offerings
  • equipping Partners with relevant, up-to-date Rackspace marketing materials by leveraging technology tools (e.g. Partner portal / enablement platform) where appropriate – so that Partners can be most effective in front of their customers

To that end, you will work both externally and internally:

  • externally, to understand our Partners’ requirements for enablement
  • internally, partnering with Channel Operations, Channel Sales and Channel Marketing

You will need to bring a solid experience in, and knowledge of, the partner ecosystem in the technology sector, of what Channel Partners need to be successful, and what we need to do to make sure they know and prioritize our offerings.

Qualifications

  • Required
    • a Masters of Business Administration complemented by 10+ years of work experience in business management, management consulting, operations and/or strategy, with increasing levels of complexity and responsibility
    • experience developing, executing and measuring the impact of Channel enablement programs that encompass communication, education/training, certification

 

  • Skills:
    • Able to build and maintain strong relationships based on trust and proven results
    • Advanced communications skills: written, verbal and presentation
    • Ability to interact and influence internal and external stakeholders at the executive level
    • Able to apply effective process management and project management skills
    • Strong financial and business acumen; strong analytical skills and focus on details
    • Self-motivated and able to drive results independently
