Do you want to be part of one of the fastest growing business units at Rackspace?  Digital is hiring Product Managers to architect the next generation of Application Support and Services products for our customers.  Our products span dedicated, FAWS, FAZURE and with your help will extend into Managed Google Cloud Platform and Alibaba and we need your help to make it happen.


You will join a team of highly motivated product folks to drive our application services product lines forward.  You will design, develop and implement these digital offers that are essential for growing the Rackspace brand and business.



  • Fanatical obsession to improving customers experience and outcomes for their applications
  • Leads the offer definition and market fit for Rackspace Application Services product set, including Sitecore Managed Cloud Premium
  • Aligns strategic revenue objectives with customer feedback and market analysis
  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Rackspace Application Services and/or Sitecore Managed Cloud Premium.
  • Researches market trends and needs
  • Leads product planning and design to ensure the product is differentiated from competitors in the marketplace
  • Develops content for marketing collateral, presentations, webinars, and sales training in support of product
  • Creates product roadmap and vision to align business objectives and customer requirements
  • Works closely with development teams from product initiation to delivery to eventual product retirement
  • Able to understand complex technical principles and how they relate to today’s business objectives
  • Continually seeks feedback from customers, sales and support to ensure product alignment with customer


Required skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of product development life cycle with relevant experience leading a product through its lifecycle
  • Manages the success of assigned products and develops requirements for future product releases.
  • Develops business cases for new offerings.
  • Researches and creates product requirements docs.
  • Facilitates build vs. buy analysis.
  • Works with Product Marketing Manager regarding company-wide communications.
  • Researches competitors’ products, assesses competitive advantages and determines what product features and functionality will be built.
  • May be asked to mentor or coach other PM’s.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, plus 3 years related experience (technology and/or product management).  MS in Technology or MBA preferred
