PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Performs moderately complex analyses of business goals and objectives and needs of the general business environment. Plans and designs business processes and makes recommendations and changes in order to improve and support business activities. Utilizes systems and data to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner.

  • KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detailed understanding of metrics and reporting. Demonstrated strong organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills. Proficient with MS Office tools, including Work, Excel, and PowerPoint. Self starter and ability to work independently and in team environments. Ability to communicate technical info and ideas so others will understand. Ability to make appropriate decisions considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions. Ability to apply varying leadership skills and traits that create solutions and results to unexpected situations. Ability to coach and motivate less experienced team members to achieve their goals. Ability to successfully work and promote inclusiveness in small groups. Ability to provide FANATICAL support.
  • JOB COMPLEXITY: Prioritizing business and project requirements. Defining project purpose and cost/benefit analysis for various initiatives and projects. Project planning and management to balance project resource, timeline, and scope. Providing thorough communication internally within the department and externally to the rest of the business. Providing functional expertise to one or more business areas. Defining and documenting process flows. Facilitating testing and quality assurance. Facilitating End User training. Establishing framework for business operations reports for various functional areas. Own and manage all business operations reporting. Run with business operations and analytics needs as pertaining to: current projects and initiatives, ad hoc information requests, CORE requests, communication plans around projects and initiatives, new Data Center builds as needed, Data Center expansions as needed, business case development for tools and resources. Oversee and own document management initiatives.
  • SUPERVISION: Operates virtually unsupervised. May provide mentoring or training to lower level Business Operations Analysts.


  • EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required.  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional working experience. 7+ years experience working in a professional business, IT, or engineering setting. 5+ years of Business Analyst or equivalent experience. Demonstrated ability to consistently provide FANATICAL support.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: General office environment. Low levels of stress may occur when solving internal customer issues. May require long periods sitting and viewing a computer monitor. No special physical demands required.
