Rackspace is looking for a true people manager who is passionate about developing employees, not afraid of change, and understands the importance of collaboration and delivering on commitments.
There's something special about working at Rackspace. We’re known for our “friends & family” culture and our results-obsessed customer service. We extend this commitment of service excellence and unsurpassed operational discipline to our world-class data centers.
As the Data Center Inventory Manager, you will be a senior member of the Data Center Leadership team and play a key role in shaping and delivering a world class customer experience to the hundreds of thousands of businesses that depend on us.
You connect with people. You’re the type of leader that really gets a kick out of the individuality of your team and it makes you feel good helping each member succeed any way you can?
You pay attention to the details. Nothing falls through the cracks on your watch. Anything worth doing is worth doing right, every single time. If you don’t know the answer, you’ll dig into the details until you find it.
You own the message. You communicate well on phone, face-to-face, and in writing. You listen to what people have to say. You understand the business need and can explain just about anything to anyone.
You play well with others. You sponsor, support and provide strong collaboration with your peers. You see the big picture and understand what’s best for the company; not just what’s best for you. However, you’re not afraid to stand your ground when you need to.
You’re a problem solver. You like solving problems simply because it makes you feel good to help someone out. You don’t get flustered easily. When someone else sees a problem, you see a challenge.
“Good Enough” is not good enough to you. You are always analyzing your results and trying to find ways to be better. You like to challenge yourself and are always raising the bar.
You like getting dirty. You are the type of leader who likes to lead by example. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves to help the team out when needed.
