The primary responsibility of the Account Representative is to develop a strong rapport with an existing set customer base, maintain a clear understanding of how the customer base is using Rackspace solutions, and generate new business within the customer base by solving solutions through leveraging the Rackspace product portfolio. Account Representatives also work closely with other account team members (i.e. Account Managers, Lead Tech, and Sales Engineers), to ensure Rackspace is continually delivering customers with a world class customer service experience.
In this role you will:
Sales experience in hosting, SAAS, or Cloud Computing industry preferred. Bachelor’s degree required; Sales, Marketing, Business or a related field; At the manager's discretion a High school diploma or equivalent plus an additional 4 years of relevant sales experience may substitute for the degree requirement
General office environment. May require long periods sitting and viewing a computer monitor. Moderate levels of stress may occur at times. No special physical demands required.
