    Overview & Responsibilities

    The Segment Marketing Programs Manager is focused on developing segment marketing strategies with clear definition of target audiences. Recognized by marketing peers as a practitioner and SME, and identified by leaders as a key driver of strategic thinking and results.

     

    This position will work closely with sales, support, product, and critically the central business unit teams in the US to build and execute marketing programs to drive this growth for the local region.

     

    Job Requirements:

    • Defines Segment audiences and corresponding marketing strategy(ies).
    • Develops associated marketing omnichannel programs including: digital and social media, email, webinars, tradeshows and sponsored events, field events and partners/Alliances.
    • Creates and manages budget informed by target Segment and proposed growth targets and marketing programs strategy.
    • Leads core teams to share insights and drive actions to improve programs and tactics.
    • Prepares insights and performance updates for QBRs and operations reviews.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field required.
    • At least 8 years of related experience required.
    • Strong understanding of business performance and outcomes, along with marketing data ecosystem and analytical skills.
    • Experience utilizing Marketo, Eloqua or Salesforce automation tools.
    • Requires expert understanding of the processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the work and in-depth familiarity with the broader underlying concepts in own job family/job discipline.
    • Demonstrated success working closely with sales teams.
    • Deep, hands-on experience in more than one of the following marketing disciplines: corporate/brand marketing, marketing automation and CRM, digital marketing, product marketing or field marketing.
    • Applies understanding of how the team relates to other closely related areas to improve efficiency of own team and stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (to perform and communicate market segmentation strategies and analysis, marketing activity performance analysis).
    • CRM understanding (proficiency preferred). 
    • Marketing automation understanding (proficiency preferred).  Digital and social media marketing understanding (proficiency preferred). 
    • Brand marketing/strategy understanding. 
    • Demonstrated proficiency of Sales process and objectives.
