    Overview & Responsibilities

    • Ownership of the Marketing relationship with Rackspace’s Tier 1 and 2 Alliance Partners namely - but not limited to - AWS, Google, Alibaba Cloud, DellEMC, VMWare, Microsoft, Red Hat, Equinix, and Sitecore and various System integrators where partnership opportunities may present themselves.
    • Responsible for development of all GTM Plans for each partner in collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders aligned to the local business objectives.
    • Lobby for MDF support of those GTM Plans in alignment with internal execution resources and sales pipeline goals.
    • Understand each channel partners MDF application and reimbursement process to ensure the most successful MDF outcome.
    • Engage with Rackspace’s international channel team to leverage insights and best practice guidance in working with channel partners.
    • Responsible for the execution of all alliance partner marketing programs (responsibility for execution of programs and working with Regional Marketing Managers).
    • Ensuring Rackspace’s value proposition is clearly understood and reinforced across our channel partners’ internal functions (where relevant to Rackspace) and Rackspace internally including pre-sales, technical, Proserv, telesales, sales, marketing and leadership through the development of sales enablement collateral and partner events.
    • Ensure continuous prioritization and reprioritization of channel partner needs and requirements from all Rackspace ASIA business stakeholders. Communication of partner marketing strategies to internal stakeholders securing buy-in for follow up activity.
    • Provide recommendations for demand generation programs to the Director of Marketing and regional Marketing Managers and clearly demonstrate their value to sales pipeline in relation to other proposed activity.
    • Responsible for the tracking, reporting, and analysis of the opportunities and ROI generated from joint marketing activity for alliance partners.
    • Prepare for and participate in alliance partner QBR meetings, where necessary.  Ensure marketing is strongly presented in relation to the overall GTM Plan.
    • Champion and attend relevant alliance partner summits, where necessary.
    • Pre-empt additional spend opportunities to ensure maximum utilization of offered MDF i.e. campaign in a box concepts build ahead of time and over-communicate when these opportunities present themselves to ensure no conflict with internal resources and other program initiatives.
    • Work in consultation with sales and PR agency to identify joint customer stories for use in demand generation and media campaigns.
    • Ownership of the Rackspace Alliance Partner Program for ASIA, with direction from our global Partner Program team.


    • A good working knowledge of Salesforce.com or similar CRM as well as a marketing automation platform i.e. Eloqua or Marketo is preferred.
    • Excellent knowledge of marketing campaigns and communications principles and practices.
    • Excellent negotiation, influencing, presentation and problem solving skills.
    • Ability to manage 3rd party brand compliance requirements.
    • Strong process and effective project management skills driving execution cross-functionally with competing deadlines and priorities. Ability to work strategically and tactically.
